One of the reasons a software vendor says they âdonât supportâ something is that it hasnât done regression testing. This is possibly the case for E9 on Windows 11⌠E9 has been end-of-life for quite awhile now and Epicor just isnât going to do a full test on such an old product. It might work for you. It might work for you for 6 months and then some new patch might break it entirely.
If you are unable to upgrade to a more current version, weâll help as long as we can, but youâre kind of on your own.
Old thread I know but wanted to put this out there in case someone runs into this.
Right click on the desktop icon and go into âPropertiesâ. Select the âCompatibilityâ tab. Check mark 'run this program in compatibility mode for: and select âWindows 7â and then save.
This will allow your E9 client to run on a Win11 machine.
