Work In Progress report questions

Slight correction:

The WIP report contains closed jobs too UNTIL the WIP/Capture post
routine is run (this removes closed jobs from the report).

Under the help item connected to this, is some detail to how the report
in calculated.

My understanding is that you won't be able to alter this program.
However, following the report help you may be able to replicate the
report in crystal etc.

WIP is purely open jobs.

If you close the job this should remove it from the wip report.

There is a report in the Job Managment, Reports sub menue named Work
In Progress. The report is located in the jc diretory with a file
name jcr91.w, which appears to be a Progress.R type file.

How do I edit this report? What software do I need access to to edit
it or view the report peramiters?

Are we looking at open jobs or open orders?

How are WIP jobs/order removed from this report? the main date
option is a cut off date wich I assume is from the cut off day back
to for ever.

in the job closing process or order closing process what needs to
happen for jobs/orders to fall off the WIP report?
