Workstation Security

Microsoft has a Zero Administration Kit for Win98. I'm not too
familiar with it, but it could be something to consider since its
free from MS. Here's the address:

Hello! I am in need of some 3rd party software (for Win98) that will lockdown a workstation so that the only thing a shop person can access is Vantage and a program called ShopComm (from SigmaNest), and some files on one of the network drive. The NT network and Vantage security are not a problem. Any suggestions will be appreciated! Thanks...Ann Harrell, AMFAB

Have you looked into the system policy editor? That's what we use and it
works very well.

We no longer allow attachments to files. To access/share Report Files,
please go to the following link: http://www.egroups.com/files/vantage/
(Note: If this link does not work for you the first time you try it, go to
www.egroups.com, login and be sure to save your password, choose My Groups,
choose Vantage, then choose Files. If you save the password, the link above
will work the next time you try it.)
