XL connect has an installer for 2016. I just checked mine and its there. Maybe yours is outdated?
I have a user who has a new laptop with Excel 2016 installed. Under the XL Connect installers, the latest option is Excel 2013. I tried this but it throws an exception every time the user tries to run XL Connect from Excel 2016. It appears to be a hard coded version check. Anyone else experience this and have a work around?
