1099 form - Are you using Epicor 9 to generate?

I had to modify the form in Epicor last year only to find that it does not print correctly on the 2014.  I would recommend using an outside service.  This year we are using our payroll company.  I would check out 1099EZ too -


Too big of a hassle in Epicor.  I think last year I had to use a custom page size of 81/2 x 11 1/2 to even get two records to print on one page.

AP just now discovered that the 1099 that's stock in Epicor ONLY prints to # 7 on the form.

How are you handling 1099's in your company?

Obviously, I need to get this going quickly...

I just spent half a day working with our accounting clerk to rebuild the 1099 report to do what we needed. What a pain. Lots of printing, making adjustments, and printing again.

We use 1099EZ.com to process our 1099’s.  We print the data from Epicor and enter the information into their formatted excel files.  Upload the files to their website and within an hour, they send you back the 1099 forms.  They are also very cheap.  We have used them for years and have had no issues.  They also file with your state if you chose.
