Well…

Here we go again, mission critical processes that worked in 2024.2 are broken. I will need some time after the long weekend to compile the list but so far I have:

Browser:
Right clicking part in supplier entry does not open all menu items in po entry

Finance:
Check your revisions…we have a base COS/WIP rule that is failing. No modifications made.

UI:
Adding related Sales Orders in project entry causes the app to freeze. (browser/client)

Slide out panels for printing are now taking longer to load and are “grayed” out

I have logged a few cases around annoying little things.

  • RFQ Generation throws and error after using the Supplier wizard
  • Attributes button goes missing in SO after returning from the attributes slider
  • Landed Cost Container Shipment Landing page does not update after entering in a new shipment and returning to the landing page…I am sure there will be others..

I am hoping that the 2025.1.5 release notes turn up soon. 2025.1.5 is supposed to be being applied to non prod environments this coming Friday for APAC.

We’re still smart client so MES start activity opens to a grey window. While the browser based MES works but we can’t use it yet.

This was the case before 2025.1, no? Something similar at least popped up with all the Rfq changes (good but half-baked) in 2024.2 or .1 :man_shrugging:

Never had a need for RFQ until now… But I can’t understand if the was the same for earlier versions and not been fixed…

Probably because support can’t repeat so no PRB since they want browser-only users to repeat in classic because support doesn’t know Kinetic. That’s my experience anyway. You have my video demo in Kinetic, I refuse.

For the finance part you need to re-import that standard COS&WIP posting rule and you are good to go.

SSRS Breaking/Routing (APR) is not working on the ApCheck Report Style, I’ve got a problem case for it PRB0298353.

Customer Shipment Entry is way broken. There’s no ‘new’ button. I found ‘New Pack/Line’ on the overflow menu. That creates a pack, but then I cannot enter an Order Number in the Details. I can enter an order number in the SHipment Lines, but then get an error that this is a duplicate of another record (or something like that). I’m freaking out right now. I have a ‘soft’ go-live next week (running pilot concurrent with an exisiting system for a month) and this is broken. I’ve submitted a ticket to EpiCare. Just wanted somewhere to vent. Thanks for listening.

Previous version had a few forms (with several users on here reporting) missing “new” buttons.

Do you have customizations on Customer Shipment?

Open it in App Studio. Click on the pages in the Application Map and see if they have missing Ep Bindings.

I haven’t seen this yet in 2025.1, but it happened a good bit (sporadically) in 2024.

No, no customizations on Customer Shipment Entry.

I checked the App Studio, Application map and I DO see Ep Binding where you indicate.

Grrr…

I’m being told this has to do with the UK-CSF.

from the EpiCare Case “a checkbox is missing in company configuration in connection with UK CSF
company configuration – modules - details – localisation – United Kingdom – Packaging information - Other Packaging Information, enable EPR
once the enable EPR is checked, you need to enter a organisation id (this should numberic)
the id 01 was entered to get the new button enables on customer shipment entry”
The Other Packaging Information card is new in 2025.1

I’m seeing the old issue with “the page has been update by another user” error constantly happening and having to refresh. It’s so annoying! At least I’m not gettiing “booted out” any longer!

Can’t print anything from the Smart Client. They’ve updated it to use Chrome instead of EObrowser, which is objectively a good thing but god only knows what that broke.

EOBrowser is Chrome = Chromium

Odd we were able too but we can’t open “Start Production” or a few other sliders in MES.

Tradition! There was also that time when the big project to update all of the Education Center videos to Flash wrapped up in the latter half of 2020.

Noticed on a screen customisation on PO Entry we have done that the sections are in the wrong order.
