Good morning Daniel,
Based on the “Hero Bar” being visible in your video… you’re trying to edit the Purchase Order’s “Main” form.

Its Monday and i had a heavy weekend
I do seem to be getting a White screen in the Client version an awful lot though, is working fine in the Browser
Before someone says it…DON’T!!!
Yeah, I had a lot of MES forms not populating in the Client. EpiCare didn’t help too much other than confirming it. I was able to play with the settings and get the forms to load in the browser, so their solution was that the issue was accepted as a Bug and the work around was just to use the browser for now
All of our users are on the browser anyway… but usually the solution is the other way around.
And I had a lot of other forms not populating in 2025.1.4, but that seems to have gotten better with 2025.1.5.
On the positive side, in 2025.1 a BAQ with a referenced BAQ (i.e., a BAQ using another BAQ as a data source) now will work in a Kinetic dashboard; in 2024, it would only work in a Classic dashboard. (PRB0296393) This happened even when there were no CTEs in either BAQ.
Is nobody else dismayed by the absence of grid filters in the baq designer?
I’m having an issue where any custom onBlur events refuse to fire.
It was accepted as a bug as well. PRB0298957
Makes further troubleshooting of 2025.1 pretty tough when your events don’t work! I’ve converted a handful to column > onChange events… but I’m holding out on others hoping they can get this patched quickly so I don’t have to hunt down and repair every single onBlur event.
Yes this is an unfortunate absence.
Its not unfortunate, its catastrophic (for me). They brought back the basic grid filters everywhere else in the application, except for the BAQ designer. Perhaps they can be brought back there too if more people would speak up and request it?
Turning on the advanced filters is not a solution, I need the basic grid filters back.
Have you raised an Idea or Ticket on Epiccare? Happy to jump on board.
Yep. The answer was, turn on the advanced filtering preview feature.
2021.1.5 Report Style Maintenance - multiple issues:
The rdls not found is just cosmetic, if you click on it, it turns green, right? I just ignore that.
In most cases, “Retrieve Status” button does NOT fix the status in Kinetic, nor does clicking the “Missing RDLs” button in Classic.
Further, these report styles cannot be downloaded, even in Classic. The errors are of the form:
“The item ‘/SaaS691PilotSSRS_xxxxxx/Reports/CustomReports/Tenants/xxxxxx/PackingSlip/PackSlip_HG-COC’ cannot be found.”
Oh that’s a different bug - I have a PRB for that one and its supposed to be getting fixed.
How many people are actually using the new one?
Apparently not very many. My concern is that gaps like this will get baked in unless people speak up right now. If you wait until later to complain they will tell you its working as designed.
MES smart client issues have us dead-in-the-water in 2025.1 they lumped our issue into this PRB: PRB0299360 - Kinetic Pilot (2025.1.4) - Engineering Workbench - Cannot Checkout Part as slide window is blank and errors
“catastrophic” . I get it, it’s annoying…I even agree. But, catastrophic is when SaaS is down for a whole week and they lose a days worth of data.
They gave us filters back in every other screen. The BAQ Designer team probably just missed the memo. There’s like 3 people in any given company that even use that BAQ Designer screen. I’m sure it’ll get fixed eventually.
Till then, try not to let the advanced filters ruin your day. You’re stronger than this. I believe in you, one click in front of the other!!
Jose the calming voice of reason.
