We also use Pro/Engineer, and it is expensive, annual maintenance is high
AND the guy who forced us to buy it doesn't work here anymore. The
engineers who are still here would like to change to something else (Solid
Works), so far, upper management says "No."
Also, when you get past the initial install, tech support is outsourced to
Asia. While I don't begrudge anyone a job, I find it EXTREMELY frustrating
to troubleshoot a problem when you can't understand the instructions being
given. And problems with Pro/Engineer, while far between, are always a pain
in the neck to resolve.
Have been unable to connect it to Vantage or to MasterCam-but I haven't
tried for over a year.
My opinion, for what it is worth.

We use Pro/Engineer. I personally don't use it, but I do knot that it is

also know that our designers and machine programmers really like it.
So far, we don't have it working with vantage at all, but it could very well
be because we haven't tried. According to Epicor, it is supported...
