4.0 AP bank reconciliation

Any reason 'post statement' would be grayed out? We're kinda new to the
financial side of things since our accountant just up and quit. Any
direction appreciated.

Here's what I've checked so far:
All fiscal periods showing open.
Balance entries made through the reconciliation screens.
Current fiscal period is well beyond the range of dates on the
reconciliation.
