Lauren, this is a procedure I wrote for Bank Rec. Not sure if it will help you but since I had it thought I would share

Check your bank setup and see whether or not you have checked reconcile AP or AR. If they are checked uncheck them and try again

Mark, yes we have posted other bank recs, but for a different bank account. The GL edit list is balancing.

Lauren, I take it that you have posted other bank recs before? Is this a different bank? Did your GL Edit List balance?

We are trying to post a bank statement in bank reconciliation. We are able to get the edit list, but the menu to post the statement under the actions menu is grayed out. There is no variance on the statement. Does anyone have any suggestions on reasons why the post statement option is grayed out? Any ideas are greatly appreciated.
