6.1 Capturing costs for plating surcharges

a miscellaneous charge on the line works in 5.0, but you'd need to know the
amount at the time you receive the line.
Well anyway, that takes the charge right to the job as you receive it.

Last month this group discussed how they were handling adding freight
costs to the job by adding a material line to the job.

I would like to know how outside vendor surcharges are being handled.
Our vendors are adding natural gas, shipping, packaging and plating
surcharges onto their invoices. I don't want to add a material line as
I would like these charges to be reflected as an added subcontract
charge, not an added material charge.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
