Add Image to APM Email

I tried searching the forum and could not find anything.

What is the best way to add an image to an HTML email? I get that it is <img src=XXXX> to add it to the email, but where is it located?

Should I add it as an image in Epicor? Should I store it on the server? App or DB server? If it is on a server, do I need full path or does Epicor know which server to look on?

Just trying to figure out what is the best way to accomplish this.

Host the image somewhere with your company website and link to it from there or use something like a rackspace or amazon cdn.
