Adding a Dashboard Grid to Job Entry

Ross,

You're awesome!!! That did it. The only funny thing now is that the grid
is no longer full sized and it has scroll bars right and bottom.

Ed,

You need to select Dashboard Browse for your JobNum dashboard filter
drop-down box...then click OK on the box that appears.

Then, when you are embedding a dashboard in a sheet you can select to
subscribe to the Job Entry screen and choose your JobNum key.

That should do it.

Let me know if you need more detail.

Ross

Subject: [Vantage] Adding a Dashboard Grid to Job Entry

I created a simple query and a dashboard. If I set a filter in the
dashboard to jobhead.jobnum = s10001, the data is displayed properly. I
can then add the sheet to Job Entry and add the dashboard and the same
data is displayed.

That is all fine and dandy, but what I need is the filter to use the job
number that is entered into job entry and return the values for that job
only. I did see a "curjobnumber" as a filter option but when I set it
up I do not have any records returned.

Can someone please help me have the dashboard return the data for the
job open in job entry?

Thank you,

Ed
