We use Service Connect for customers only - inbound EDI. The processing
does take quite some time, but Epicor recommends breaking into smaller
batches. So far, we have them broken down to the Trading Partner level
each day.
I also forgot to mention to Greg that the new Service Connect workflows
do a lot more verification up front - checking for Demand Contracts,
parts, unposted demand, etc.

We are in the first stages of EDI, as well. Our current volume is small,
but after we prove it out, I have many customers and suppliers who will
want to jump on board. Do you use Service Connect to process the data?
Do you have any "lag" issues? (My previous life, we used lot tracking,
and it really bogged SC down. Does it have that issue with EDI?) Do you
use EDI primarily for customer contact, or also for suppliers?
Thanks in advance!

We have EDI and are live on 407b and testing on 408b.
Your volume and type of EDI transactions will determine the advantages
to upgrading.
Which transactions are you using and do you have a large volume?

Subject: [Vantage] Anyone using EDI and Vantage 8.03.403?
Is anyone running EDI with vantage 8.03.403?
I have read that 8.03.407A has improvements to the EDI functionality of
Vantage along with the service connect workflow.
Does anyone have any recommendations on implementing EDI with Vantage?
Is the upgrade to 8.03.407A a must do?
Should I have TIE and Epicor setup the EDI interface?
If anyone has EDI integrated through Epicor I would love to hear their
experience(s).
Thanks,
Greg
