For the life of me I can’t find the group by or summary settings in Kinetic. We have a converted dashboard that does group on company, but I cannot see in App Studio how/where it is configured.
And we also want to show summaries, only on certain columns, by default which I’m also unable to locate. I see where to toggle it after getting results, but it does all # based columns, not just the ones we want.
Any documentation on this?
Anyone have thoughts on this? I am still unable to locate any helpful information.
Looks like Show/Hide Summaries is on the overflow of the grid:
And “Groupable” is under Grid Model:

Thanks for the response. I had mentioned in the original post that there’s awareness of the option to summarize once you have the results, but that it’s not a good solution. It’s also a massive step backwards vs the experience in classic. So the questions remain, is there a way to summarize by default? And is there a way to select which columns summarize?
As for the grouping, I have a converted dashboard with a groupable panel grid. The grouping came in converted, the grid is checked groupable, but I cannot change the grouping. I cannot add to it, or remove the grouping that came over by default. So I thought there might be some other location for me to check.

I have found that when you preview the dashboard , you can customize the columns. I think that carries through to what Epicor calls the Default Layout.
One issue I am having with the column summaries is this:
When first previewing the dashboard, View Summaries is not visible. If you close the panel then reopen it, the Show Summaries icon is there BUT… several columns are missing.
Is anyone else seeing this or would this be a bug ??
