I know there’s a couple of other Ideas that deal with improvements to Data Collection in the Kinetic UI that include making the screens more tablet/phone friendly, placement of buttons, etc. There is also an idea about color/size control in the Kinetic UI.
What I hope to see is a way to maintain the separation of data and formatting (e.g. CSS). In the era of AI, we don’t have to have formatting commands mixed in with our data. It cost tokens to remove it. So having the ability to do Markdown (like we use here in the forum) for our content and a separate way to format the content.
I voted for the other two ideas. Hoping that things like this start to gain momentum and we can get through to Epicor that the Kinetic Web interface is in need of more modern programming. Thanks for the information you sent me.

It’s a great idea. I know that the Customer Panel for Classic to Kinetic (@timshuwy) is aware that Data Collection needs some attention in the web browser. I would imagine that the AdvancedMES people will need the same improvements to bring their Web HMI to the same capability now that they are using the Kinetic UI soon. They have big buttons and color already.
