No and mostly. This software works pretty well but has a significant
learning curve. We are still struggling to make it work well for us. You
should be prepared to pay for consulting assistance.

Hello all ....
Â
We just reviewed a webcast on APS for Vantage 8. One question I had after seeing the webcast is ...
Â
1) Can you look at a global view of a Resource Group versus by Resource from a capacity stand point? On the webcast - he only was showing the resources scheduling. Can you view the resource group scheduling?
Â
Thanks for any help.

Yes. You can view by resource or resource group.

Beware: Still buggy on 8.03.404 and also, most seasoned planner/schedulers find graphical tools much less efficient to use in the real world (and of limited use as, since they do the job everyday, they don't need a picture to know what is happening).

They make a nice sales pitch though. Do yourself a favor and focus on the non-graphical forms and capabilities to see if they fit your needs and processes.

Rob Brown.
