We have been struggling with APS implementation for several months with no
success. The greatest problem is the lack of problem solving tools. When a
job is scheduled by finite global scheduling, there is no tool (critical
path, etc) to show the items causing lead times. Not a lot of Vantage
support either.

We've just got hold of the Technical reference and it does look
promising.
It would be nice to have some empirical evidence of it working in the
