APS in Vantage 8.03.4xx

We have been struggling with APS implementation for several months with no
success. The greatest problem is the lack of problem solving tools. When a
job is scheduled by finite global scheduling, there is no tool (critical
path, etc) to show the items causing lead times. Not a lot of Vantage
support either.

Thanks Tony,

We've just got hold of the Technical reference and it does look
promising.

It would be nice to have some empirical evidence of it working in the
real world still...cynic that I am :-)

Newbie alert - please go easy with me, I am a lone IT person in a sea
of Vantage 6.1

This may seem like a curious question, but I am looking for any
'satisfied' Vantage 8.03.4xx APS users out there?

We currently have a specific issue with sub-contract operations that
need to be 'locked' in some form when running global finite
scheduling. So far, we have not been able to do this to our
satisfaction.

Neither have we been able to find anyone who is using APS in V8.03.xx,
hence my post.

Any input or feedback would be welcomed.
