AR Invoice Create cancellation Invoice

Hello,
I am trying to create a cancellation invoice in AR.
After selecting the legal number getting error that “cannot refer to another credit memo”
Please suggest the solution to fix this error.

Are you trying to create a cancellation invoice of a credit Memo.

You Cannot use cancellation invoice for a credit memo. That is only applied to Stantadrd Invoice either Miscellaneous or shipment invoice. You might have to create a miscellaneous invoice and apply the credit memo to that.
