Auto Print in Browser Does not Open New Tab

I was using an AutoPrint BPM to launch a Job Pick List Auto Preview when the Job Traveler is printed and it appears to work just fine in the application, correctly launching two new tabs (one for each report). But when I do it using the browser, it only opens the Job Traveler tab… however, it does successfully send the report to the Task Agent and it does create it and I can click on it in the notifications and it will open. Why won’t it auto-open? I confirmed it does this in both Edge and Chrome. Version is 2023.2 and it’s on prem (if that matters).

Fun fact, I’ve also done this same thing in other Epicor instances in the past and never had a problem with it. Any ideas what else I can try to do to troubleshoot?

Thanks,
Dan

I don’t know if this will help but did you check this setting?

Yes this is set to open PDFs in Chrome. It opens the first report that I printed but does not open the “AutoPrinted” report that is supposed to launch after it.

Yeah I think its because the autoprint is happening server side so it doesn’t know how to get to your browser. That’s my super sophisticated technical understanding of what is going on.
