Also might want to check the AT command to ensure the filename is
correct and it will run your batch file every night.

Change the drive letter E: to whatever drive you have Progress installed
on. Change the CD statement to whatever directory Progress is installed
in. Change the path(s) after the probkup online command to whatever
directory your Vantage database is installed.


e:
cd \epic52\progress\bin\
probkup online e:\epic52\sundance\db\sundance e:\backup\sundance.bk

Simply cut and paste into notepad, make changes above, and save as .bat
file

Help...We haven't had a good back up since June 28th.

We were backing up Vantage using a .bat file which create a folder and
stored the backup in that folder, then at the end of each day our tape
backup would backup the backup folder. Unfortunately our .bat file has
some how been deleted and we are no longer backing up Vantage. Does
anyone have a .bat file they can send me or do you have a different
method of backing up everyday?
