Bank Adjustment Reconciliation Snafu

So - quite sometime ago I did a bank adjustment to move funds from one bank account to another (the bank transfer wasn’t working). Apparently I was in a hurry and did the adjustment in reverse of what it should have been. So…I quickly did another adjustment to reverse the first one and move the money in the correct direction. When the bank statement was reconciled it appeared that the transactions were cleared and our account balance agrees with the bank balance. The problem is that somehow there is an orphaned adjustment sitting out there on the Epicor side with nothing to reconcile it against from the statement and I’m stumped as to how to clear it up. So here’s the breakdown of what happened:

Incorrect Bank adjustment (it was backwards)
Credit Bank Account A - $50,000
Debit Bank Account B - $50,000

To correct the wrong adjustment:
Debit Bank Account A - $100,000
Credit Bank Account B – $100,000

The net effect was $50,000 moved from Account B to Account A. However, I still have a $50,000 Debit to Account A hanging around as non-reconciled and I don’t know how to get rid of it without screwing up the balance in the account. Our running balance is good and matches what the bank has… I feel like I should know how to do this… but clearly it’s eluding me and any and all help is appreciated.
