BAQ - Calculated Field within a calculated field

They are quite clear w/ BAQs that you can not have a calculated field that is base on the results of another calc field.

That isn't to say you can't construct the (more complex) formula in a single caclc field. (Not always possible - so be prepared to do your further processing in the BAQ report, Dashboard or in Excel, etc if results exported.

On the "Display" tab of a BAQ I'm trying to set up a Calculated field

When I try to analyze the BAQ I get a syntax error within the Calculated
Field. I'm trying to show the exact quantity on hand. This is done by
taking the Total of PartBin.OnHandQty and subtracting from it
PartWhse.AllocQty.



Does anyone have any ideas why this isn't working?
