Stephen, will these scripts work with E905.701? ( I realize I would have to modify the variables)

Has anyone run into any trouble with this on a schedule?

Currently on 9.05.701 and trying to run a BAQ on a schedule for 12:01 AM.

The BAQ runs fine when you run the BAQEP "NOW" but if I put it on the schedule to run later, it doesn't work, well it "runs" but when it exports there are "0 Rows"

The BAQ is a simple one that is just running through and showing all "Bin on Hand" numbers.

As a secondary question regarding the setup of a schedule to run specific reports on the "Last Day of the Month" How are people handling it if at all? Right now I have a schedule setup for 12:01AM on the First Day of the Month since "Last Day" is not an option, and I set all the dates on the reports dynamically to "Yesterday" but wasn't sure if there was a better way.

I cant speak to the no data issue, we ran lots of scheduled BAQ’s in 700c with no issues, but never ran on 701. To answer your last question, use dynamic option “End of current fiscal Period” Assuming you follow the monthly calendar this should account for differences in number of days in a month.

Never seen that issue but have had issues with the handling of Multiple line descriptions and comments.

You can now use DMT to export BAQs and schedule via windows scheduler it handles the multiline issues.

So, I know the setting is there in the option within the report to select "End of Month" and "End of Fiscal Period", that isn't so much the issue.Â

I was more talking about in the Task Agent when you setup a schedule, there is no way to setup the Schedule to run on the last day of the month. You can pick "Last <insert day of week>" but not the actual last day.

I know I could go in and change it every month to run on the number, we need to make this something that just exists in perpetuity without needing an adjustment every month.

Unless there is a unknown logic where if we set it to "every 31" it will run on 2/29 or 6/30 if the month has fewer than 31 days.
