BAQ Max Date Question - E9.04

Fishing for data in BAQ’s:

Create another Join to Checkhed (Alias Join Checkhed2) using LAST or FIRST not EACH so it just grabs the last record hopefully the last check MAX date.

Test for results.

Watch the join criteria to see what INDEX is used in Data Dictionary Viewer you are directing it to use IDXVENDATE.

(Does it hit one by check date? Like IDXVENDDATE  = Company,Posted,VendorNum,CheckDate

May be an outer join if in your case no check has ever been issued an you want to know it as well.

(It will just come back blank.)

I’m finding this type of searching (fishing for data) in BAQs is extremely fast and powerful.

Subject: [Vantage] BAQ Max Date Question - E9.04

In Epicor 9.04.507A

In a BAQ, how can I get the maximum date for checkhed.checkdate ?

What BAQ Function will let me do that or is there other syntax I need to use?

Thanks,

Jim Moore
