Barcode font Blank Title 107147

Not true. You can scan parens and quotes with Code39. I currently do it. See previous reply.

I had the exact same problem, you need to use code 128. I'm not on commission but we use this product and it really does work:

Epicor's barcode font will not print some special characters that I seem to be stuck with like parentheses and quotation marks (don't ask). Where can I get a font that will work with these characters?
It’s not an Epicor font issue.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Code_39

Code 39 without full-ASCII enabled on the guns only recognizes 40 or so characters....... it won’t scan special characters.

You’ll need to use the REPLACE command in Crystal in a function.

If a “(“ is seen, replace it with “/H”.

Then it will scan.

There’s even a document in our FILES section (uploaded by yours truly) that outlines all of this for you, also.
