Barcode Scanning

haha =) have pond outside of my bedroom window. Morning Alarm Clock.

But yes I create a PCID Barcode which is basically “PartTran.TranNum-UD08.Key1” and based on that I do a query to PartTran to pull in Part, Rev and more and the UD08 is my Serial Numbers table from E9 when PCID didnt exist… Whenever a Label Prints it would write to UD08 even a Re-Print with a Unique Serial Number.

But this has improved efficiency of the Scanners they can hammer out a Skid by just listening to Audio Queues “bing, bing, bing, bing, alarm! look at your screen, bing bing, bing”

without the Audio Queues you could have a MessageBox Epicor’s or your own BPM’s block the input screens and they wouldnt notice.

Also Epicor out of the box you have to scan like 5 barcodes (Part, Lot, this that) with this Barcode, its a single “License Plate Barcode”.

For those wondering… I’ll need to write a good Experts Review of the process… But you can maximize the use of BarTender as well. In order to support Print Console, Re-Print Console…

Would you care to share the other hidden hot keys, and how you found them?
