Bartender setup question

Setting up a Azure VM server for bartender.

Server it good to go. Got a point to point VPN setup and I can access the local network resources.

My only question is now… we use Microsoft 365 (Office 365) for Active Directory. It’s more or less Azure AD. Should the server be joined to the domain or no?

I thought about it and I don’t think it will but I’m not fully sure of everything bartender requires.

FWIW, I’ve had some discussions with Seagull Scientific last week about security and found that:

  • Bartender Cloud supports Azure AD
  • Bartender On-Prem only supports Basic and Windows Authentication
