Hi Mark,
We do not have any custom programs installed. We have been looking into our data, specifically errors we have been receiveing regarding “effective” dates and the “obsolete” dates, to see if that may have an effect on the MRP issues. We are still on 809C. I think we may stay here for a bit, we cannot afford to go back to having errors which crash our server again. For now we are adding dates manually.

Kelly,
Did you have any custom programs installed regarding MRP? We were
talking with Epicor about the problems with MRP not scheduling jobs
and remembered that a few weeks ago an Epicor person sent us custom
versions of schedengine.r and mrptrg.r to help diagnose the errors we
were getting in the server log. The latest patches (809c and 809d)
have updated versions of these programs, but the propath would cause
the system to read the custom versions of these programs (which were
created before 809c) before the new versions. We have taken them out
and started another mrp run to see if it schedules. This has fixed
the problem of the jobs not scheduling, but now the same errors have
come back in the server log that I mentioned in another post, errors
which you said you also had before 809c.
