How to see a BOM for a configured part on a Sale order ?

There really is not a way to see this in the sales order.

  1. if you configured in the QUOTE, then you can “get details” into the quote to see the bom.
  2. if you configured in the ORDER, then you will need to create a job, which will get the details from the configurator.
  3. ALSO, if you built the configurator correctly so that it can populate the engineering workbench, or so that you create a part, then the new part number in the EWB will contain the BOM.

Can we bring this option in the SO? by using customization? Does it make any sense?

it makes sense to us, if you won a quote and converted to an order, then last minute the customer changes the colour of something for example, it may financially make no difference to you so it would be a nice feature to have - epicor idea?

I agree with your point. This kind of flexibility could definitely improve the user experience and efficiency, so I think it could be a valuable idea for Epicor to consider. Thanks for bringing this up!
