I'm having difficulties getting an exploded, costed BOM printout that shows the make-up of a standard cost roll-up, even if I print the report immediately after doing a cost roll. Support tells me that there are several reasons why this won't necessarily work.

Has anybody built such a report or have insight into why it is impossible?

I've found a freeware product Palo www.palo.net that will allow hierarchies to be defined. I think I'm going to try to use this.
