BPM fires on user logon

Or a dashboard that autoloads from a favorite group when vantage starts. I've done this with the PO approval

Well I suppose it could be anywhere. My goal was to let the user know of
any PO's that require approval upon login. The unique login for that
person would not be a feasible solution, as he rarely logs into Vantage
as is. The hope was that when he does login, one of the first things he
does is sees a list of all PO's requring approval and then approves
them.

I was thinking of dumping the data out using ODBC and writing a .NET app
that would do the same thing in his Windows environment. I'd prefer it
in Vantage upon login, but I would need to settle for whatever I can
get.

Thanks Len

Hello all,

What I'm looking for seems pretty simple. I want to fire a BPM when the user logs in. I'm looking for the correct BO.Method to utilize. I'm trying to use UserFile right now, with various methods, and I haven't been able to get it yet.

Thanks in advance for the help.
Just tried this, it doesn't seem to fire the BPM. Created a simple bpm
UserFile.GetDefaults to display an informational message and nothing
happened.

Interesting.

Yes I tried the exact same thing. I can't seem to figure out why it won't fire, but my guess is that the login process completes before the BPM process is started maybe? I'm not sure. I'm going to keep toying with it.

Good Day Bob:

What are you trying to trigger? Is a login execution the only place
to do it?

If for a very specific thing for one person, you could have them
login as a different unique user. Personalize\customized his screen to
cause ( remind him) what you want, then he can logout and login with his
'normal' login?

Sun Is on M2K (Informix) but,

It sounds like a BAM might be a good solution - from Dale.
