Bob,
I have not tried what you are describing.
Have you considered using a Business Activity Manager to trigger a
global alert or a email?
If the user has any Global alerts outstanding, the bar on the bottom
turns yellow(default).
Hope this helps.

Well I suppose it could be anywhere. My goal was to let the user know of
any PO's that require approval upon login. The unique login for that
person would not be a feasible solution, as he rarely logs into Vantage
as is. The hope was that when he does login, one of the first things he
does is sees a list of all PO's requring approval and then approves
them.
I was thinking of dumping the data out using ODBC and writing a .NET app
that would do the same thing in his Windows environment. I'd prefer it
in Vantage upon login, but I would need to settle for whatever I can
get.
Thanks Len
