This is possible with a BPM and a BPM Form that is customised to ask the specific question.
Depending on the response you could then update the field.
Alternately this could be done all within the customisation layer.
I would lean towards customisation in this instance.

Subject: [Vantage] BPM to ask a question and update a field value
When we are working in PO Entry in 9.05.702a and select “Approved†we would like a question to come up asking:
Is this a New or Revised PO?
If they answer New – it would toggle the new radio button, otherwise the revised radio button would be selected.
Do you know if it’s possible to do this with a BPM or by going into customization mode and putting in some c# code? What might be an example of doing this?
Thanks.
