Is it possible to have databases installed in different locations under the same installation?
We now have three separate regions using Epicor but speed is becoming an issue for two sites.
Keeping the data synced between multiple databases would be very difficult.
Are you using the Epicor client installed on PCs in the different regions? If so, I’d suggest trying a remote desktop solution first (RDP, Citrix, etc.) before looking at multiple databases.
Epicor SaaS now has a multi-region solution, so it’s possible.
if I may ask “they have multi-region” what does that mean… we’ve asked about sites in separate countries being able to connect to their own local region and still have access to each others data and our Rep has made this look complex…
