Change Blocksize

This happened to me on version 6. Restoring to an empty folder
worked. One of the files in the original target folder seemed to
cause this behavior.

Somebody know how to change block size Vantage 8.03 I'm trying to
upgrade database from 8.00 to 8.03 and when I restore database from
backup to 8.03 database I have a message that block size in source
database is 8192 and in target is 4096....

When you create a database you must specify the block size at that time;

Example: "prostrct create db-name db-name.st -blocksize 8192"

If you don't specify at the time of creation the default size will be
4096

However, if you already have a database created, a dump and load will
double the size of the creation block size, ie..4096 become 8192

I'm assuming that the target db does not have useful data in it, so I
would recommend deleting it and recreate it with the "-blocksize"
parameter.
