I wanted to add a chart and graphs on my dashboard but I can’t find it in the toolbox components or in the widget. I’ve check out license and it was there we have the EDD Basic.
it there another step where I can access that.

What about this?
Charts and graphs are only available via EDD. Honestly, they aren’t worth the effort. Good luck!
Head to Excel and API calls though Power Query Editor when you want real control.

I am not sure if EDD is included by default, but I think it should be:

I can see it was there. Is there a step I’m missing like to assign it to my user name?

Sounds like a ticket to support is in order.

I did it was already 3 days on it. I’ve escalated still waiting for support.
Is there something I’m missing like assign it to my user account?

If you are on prem you have to set it up in the EAC, redeploy, recycle the app pool, etc. It’s all in the regular Kinetic install guide.
No idea about cloud though.

When EDD is installed does all the user sees this?

Yes, but unchecking that apiv1 box for the user makes it so they cant access it. They just get an error instead. That might be good, unless apiv1 has any other implications beyond EDD…

Try opening EDD. within there you can see the settings icon. Click that and go to Roles. I think you can define who can view or administer EDD from here. I haven’t tested this, but it looks promising!
This part of the help looks … helpful…
