Closed transfer order demand

Hi everyone,

I have a couple closed transfer orders that are showing demand in time phase when they shouldn’t. In each case it’s a closed order, a partially shipped line, and a ship by date later than the need by.

Has anyone experienced this or know how to fix it?

Any update on this? We might also be experiencing the same.

Yes, I’ve heard its a bug and you can request a data fix. I’ve been told to submit a ticket and reference their Knowledge Base article KB0117354, which relates to closed transfer order demand showing in timephase.

Apparently you send Epicor some info and they send you back a .df file to be loaded into your system.

Haven’t followed through myself yet, but planning to this week.

Please report back on how it goes we have a few rogue parts with this issue that I keep meaning to find time to get a fix for

Correction, it was article KB0049741. And yes the datafix Epicor sent solved the problem.

Do you know what the fix did? Did it just change the “open” status of the planttran record to closed?

I am not quite sure, but here is the description of the data fix provided by Epicor:

This fix program will delete PartDtl records with the type of TO which are incorrectly left over from a closed TFOrdDtl record. It will also delete partdtl records for TO where the shipped qty meets or exceeds the lines required quantity. It will remove orphan PlantTran records and orphan Job Management records.

OK. That sounds right. It’s weird. Some of the transfer order shipments were able to be received and others were not. So I hope this clears up the ones that could not be received.

Can’t say we experienced issues receiving orders, it was just incorrect data in time phase, but hopefully it solves your issue.
