I dont know if anyone else has come across with this problem, my
scenario is that I have shipping labels to print from 'Customer
Shipment Entry' and in order to print the right amount I use the 'Mass
Shipment' tab to equal the number of labels to print with altering the
number in the 'Pkgs' packages field.
But the only problem with printing is that for some parts labels it
doesnt seem to print out the amount as altered in the packages(Pkgs)
field. I mean for some if you enter 5 in 'Pkgs' it will print 5 label
copies of the same part. But for some other part if you equal the
number of packages to the number of label prints will not necessary
print that many labels(eg. if the user enters 4 in 'Pkgs' the printer
would print 2).
Is this a database issue or is there another way of looking at it to
fix? I'm thinking vantage has some broken links or functions that
arent always functioning but of course I could be wrong.
NOTE: number of prints needed are determined by LNSHIPQTY(quantity) of
that part.
