Corporate Structure Set-up Questions

We are in the implementation stage and would like to hear from other
companies who have multiple sales offices with one or two
manufacturing plants. How do you have your divisions set up? How do
you have your plants set up? Do your sales offices have P&L
responsibility?

Specifically we would like to have the system be able to generate
reports by sales office that shows their profitability (gross
margin) and their G & A expenses (rent, salaries, etc.) to determine
their net profit.

Anyone who can share how they set up their multi sales office, multi
plant environment would be much appreciated. We are at a stand still
in our implementation until we figure this out.
