I am in the process of building out company in Vantage 5.2 with multiplants
and I have a bunch of questions about this. I was hoping to get a few
answered here.
The structure of our company is a corporate office with divisions spread out
all over the south. We are limiting each division to only a few
departments. Manufacturing, Service and SG&A. We are using the multiplant
module in Vantage to separate the division into plants. However I am coming
across many things that are not plant specific. For example. I am setting
up Purchasing Misc Charges and I am finding that I have to create a charge
for each division and dept to get it pointed to the right division and
depts. GL account. Am I right in assuming this? Is there any other way to
do it? Any insight on this would be greatly appreciated.
