Hi all

We have a requirement where we need to create a csv of the parts on the picking list combined with other info

I have created a simple crystal report which displayed the correct info, but from the crystal runtime preview screen it doesn't give me the option to save as csv. It only gives me the option for xls and a few others.

How can I get a csv easily / automatically?

Thanks

Chris Thompson

Search google and yahoo group for StreamWriter – if the data is all available in Epicor – you can do this with code.

Otherwise, in Crystal Reports Full Version, there is an export to CSV option – but not in the run time.

What type of report is it?

BAQ report, ODBC report, data definition?

Chris,

In the past I've used a "virtual printer" to create TEXT files for Positive Pay (for AP Checks/Banks) via Crystal Reports.  The user would Preview the report in the normal Crystal runtime and "print" to this virtual printer driver which would extract Text-Only data (dropping any formatting) and save it to a file of your choice.  There are many other on-the-fly options to help facilitate the resulting text files into a format of your choice.  Perhaps it will work for you.

I didn't work on the tax returns, but I'll try to do that today or tonight.
