my whole process is create data view in crystal and export to excel then you
could save :)

Yeh, but this guy wanted a saved copy of the data in a digital format
after he hit "print preview" or "print to file". I fixed the temp setup
to a network directory also - it was a permissions issue in the root
directory.

One method of printing to files is to install a Generic/Text Only
printer driver to print to the port "File". When you print your report
from Vantage, the system will ask you for a filename.

We can't get Vantage default reports to "print to file" anywhere in
Vantage 6.1 - has anyone else had this problem? If so, how did you
resolve it? Our accounting dept. wants to start printing reports in text

into that directory?
