Credit Card Processing using PayPal + Developer.PayPal

Hello Users,

Epicor Version- 10.2.400.28

I have been working on credit card processing but I am stuck in the credit card process and configurations, I googled it everywhere but didn’t see any notes or documentations related to Developer.PayPal,

We are using https://developer.paypal.com/ and did the following setup in an Epicor

Have created sales order with testing credit card values but when i authorize it, it has showing …

Did I miss any installation related to credit card processing?
Did I follow the wrong process?
How do I setup processor details in credit card configuration setup form?

Request to provide your assistance to accomplish the task
Thank you.

Hello Pritesh, Were you ever able to work through this issue? We have a multi-Company configuration and have one company that recently started getting the same “User authentication failed…"

I know this thread is a few years old now, but hopefully someone can help me out.

We are working on implementing Epicor and struggling to get it to work with Paypal. We are having the same exact issue with User Authentication failed.

We have tried so many different combinations without any luck. Even the current credentials we use with current ERP system do not work.

I have reached out to Paypal Technical Support as well, but so far they haven’t been able to help either. They always seem to push using an API with a certificate, but I’m not sure if that applies here.

Hopefully this helps someone in the future.

At least in our case it turns out that entering your Merchant ID isn’t really what it wants.

It wants the User ID you used to create the account. The User field can be the same User ID or typically a separate account you make that just has authorization rights.

Joe,
Did you get this working? I am struggling to get my Dev Sandbox Account working

Could you tell me what you put in each field?

I am using the info from developer.paypal.com

My apologies Jose, the day you asked was my Epicor Kinetic launch day and well I kind of forgot to respond.

Glad to see you got it working though.

Also I really enjoy the videos you put out. Just watched the Codabears Rest video.
