I'm getting in this conversation a little late, but I wanted to
second Troy's statement that Crystal Web Reports are SWEET! The only
problem I've encountered are that some reports that use Sub-reports
are very slow and sometimes hang up the Crystal Web Server. Which
can be fixed by stopping and starting the service. I whole-heartedly
agree that modifying and distributing reports is very nice using this
method.

reports and get to using Crystal Web reporting, I don't think you
will regret it. We're using an older 450mhz PC with Windows NT 4.0
installed on it so hardware was not expensive. With some support
from the group, you could get the Web server up and running in a
day. After that, distributing reports is so much easier in my
experience. It's easier to modify reports, easier to get them to the
user(s), and easier to manage the organization of reports.
