Cheryl,
What you need to do is use a subreport with Crystal for the additonal
database table.
The subreport will simply contain just the table (connected via ODBC) that
has the field you want to use in your report.
The linking between the main report and the subreport is the tricky part.
All fields in Vantage .dbf files are converted to strings when you run the
report from Vantage. If the key linked field in the subreport is a numeric
filed (for instance, PONum), then you will need to create a formula in the
main report to convert the string to a number. Then you can link the
formula in the main report to the key field in the subreport.
This is the overview. If you need more details, I can try to answer more
specific questions.

Hi,
I assume you are adding to a pre-existing Vantage report. Is that
true?
And you want to add a field from another table that is not included in
the
report?

Any help you can give would be great! Thanks
