Crystal PO Form

Actually, I was just thinking about using the "New / Changed" radio button
next to the PRINT BUTTON to trigger printing the price or not. Purchasing
does not use so I was thinking of adding FIELD logic to PRINTAS=NEW print
price, PRINTAS=Changed price = 0. You would have to change the radio button
the print again. But I think I like your idead better, less clicks.

Thanks

Patrick, Couldn't you just make and additional copy of the report and insert

it as a subreport with the price fields deleted or conditionally suppressed?

How would I go about having my PO form in Crystal automatically print 2
copies, the first with no price the second copy displaying the price?

Patrick

We are on Vantage 3.0 with Crystal 6. When printing PO's, sometimes the
page will break after the release header and put the release details on the
next page. It will even begin a new page in the middle of a list of
releases so that some release details are on one page and some on another.
I don't know much about Crystal, but it appears that all the necessary
groups and detail lines are marked "Keep together". Does anyone know some
other way to prevent this from happening? Does it still happen in newer
versions of Vantage and Crystal?
Thanks,

To keep the entire group together you need to do the following: Open the PO
form in crystal. Right click on the POLine Group Header line and click the
'Change Group' option. Make sure the 'Keep Group together' option is
checked. This will keep the entire group together.

However, I don't know why your PO sometimes starts a new page immediately
after the page header info, maybe your line item header info is too long to
fit on the same page, so the keep together is forcing it onto a new page?
Just a suggestions.

Sometimes it is as simple as checking what printer driver you are using. I
have had cases where a PO or a AR/AP form printed perfect on one printer and
was totally messed on another. The solution was to use the same printer
driver for both or select a "different" printer (the printer is actually the
same) that had a specific driver for what you need to print, such as Checks
or special labels, etc...
Take a look at it and give it a try. The other suggestion from Sarah, is a
good one too.

Have a great day...
