Crystal Report - Job Traveler

It could be the type of Join you used to add the table. There are only Inner/Outer and Left/Right combos so just mess around with the code to see if that resolves it.

Also - be wary of 'automatic' (over)linking that plagues many drag/drop apps like Crystal. Read the WHERE statements to make sure some 'over-exuberant' GUI created field to field link didn't wipe out your ability to draw in the data in the way you need it presented.

I'm trying to get this report to display a checkbox
(Orderhed.Checkbox01) in the OrderHed. I've created a relationship in
the Report Definitions (JobTrav), but each time in Crystal reports I
add the OrderHed all the information on the Traveler disappears.

Thanks,

--SF
Check your joins in Crystal under Database/Database Expert. More than
likely there is a relation that's not fully defined or a link that needs
to be an outer join somewhere.

I don't remember if the OrderHd table is in the original data definition
of the Job Traveler. If it isn't you need to own the SDK license to add
tables. In a different report that I needed to add a table to, I placed
a subreport on the Crystal report so I could link it that way.

You don't say what Vantage version you are on - and this may thus be a dumb question - but are you SURE your linked OrderNum fields are the same (compatible) type.

Similarly, are you SURE CustNum in OrderHead is related to Company in JobShip?

We are on 8.03.403 and my 1st assumption when seeing a column named 'Company' would be that it is YOUR (or our) company data table entity record key - NOT the customer's.

Well, I kinda have it figured out. I removed all relationships in the
Report Definitions and added just one:

Parent Table:JobShip
Key:
Child Table:OrderHed
Relationship Field:
Seq 1, Parent Field Name: OrderNum, Child Field Name: OrderNum

Seems to work fine, but I still have to select "Shipping Schedule" on
the "Print Box." If I don't select this box it will print a blank
page. Anybody know why it prints a blank page if I don't select
"Shipping Schedule?"

Thanks,
