Hi there,

You asked how to get the latest BOM rev in a crystal report. You could
try this (I didn't test it but i think it will be ok) :

Group by part, put the part rev records in the detail area. order the
detail by either rev num, approved date or effective date - whichever
orders the data for you with the required row at the end. Now put your
required row in the group footer row and hide the detail area. This
should then only show the last record.

kind regards

I have a sales report that breaks down the tax, freight and FET. For
whatever reason, if my freight hits the first line on a Invoice, it
won't sum up the field. But, if my freight hits the last line, no
problem summation good.

Anyone knows how to fix my formula so that it will sum up regardless of
the line freight hits?

Does this make any sense?!?!?!?!?!?!

TIA!

Has anyone been able to come up with a formula to find the latest rev for a BOM? I have several parts where all of its methods are approved and I want only the latest to be returned. I'm on Crystal XI.
