Yes that is exactly what we did
Grouped by Customer Name Hid GH1 and GF1 and grouped and summarized by
CustID and put the ID and Customer Name at the CustID GF2 level

Can you group it by Customer.Name, then by Customer.CustID?

Crystal Reports XI R2

We have a Crystal Report that is grouped by Customer.Name and sorted in
ascending order. The problem is that it is combining those customers with
the exact same name, but have different Customer IDs. For this particular
report, we still want the list sorted by customer name in alphabetical order

and we want them all listed separately. What do I need to change to do
this?

I've experimented with changing the Group expert, but it's not right.

What it is doing now:

99893 ABC Company $1000.00

What we want:

99892 ABC Company $700.00

99893 ABC Company $300.00

Thanks,

Michelle

I would create a calculated field that would be {Customer.Name} + " -
" + {Customer.ID} and group by that. Probably wouldn't hurt to display
this as the group name as well so you can easily distinguish them.

You need to concatenate the fields as someone else already suggested
Customer Name & "_" & Customer ID = group

Will be

ABC Company_99892 99892 ABC Company $700.00

ABC Company_99893 99893 ABC Company $300.00
