Currency Revaluation Process Epicor 9.05.607B

Thanks for responding to this Darryn. We are due to upgrade to 9.05.700 by the end of the year so hopefully we will see an improvement. Since upgrading to 607B we have had so many problems etc and with Epicor knowing the state of play you would have thought that their upgrade team would have made us aware of these problems and therefore encouraged an immediate upgrade to 700.
Â
Thanks again.
Â
Regards,
Grant

Hi Grant,

This is/was one of our major issues.

We are currently testing 9.05.700 and one of the fixes is to be able to
uncheck the reverse tick box, which our Management Accountant is very
pleased about!!

Thanks,

Darryn

Good afternoon

We have recently upgraded to Epicor 9 from Vantage 8 and have experienced
many teething problems along the way, which we are eagerly trying to work
through. One problem that we cannot seem to resolve concerns the Currency
Revaluation Process (i.e. we work in multiple currencies).

The issue being, when our Management Accountant proceeds to revalue AR/AP
Invoices; Sales Orders; Purchase Orders; Bank Accounts; etc....

The Revaluation simply reverses in the GL within the month following the
revaluation.

There is an option on the Currency Revaluation Process Screen to 'uncheck'
the Reversal Journal but the check box is greyed out and will not allow us
to un-tick it.

I have searched everywhere for information on how this can be done and I
currently have a call open with Epicor but they are not getting back to me
despite chasing for a response.

Does anyone on this forum perhaps have a solution that I could try?

Thanks in advance
Grant

We have the same issue in 9.04.507A. We're working around it.

We've been live for over a year and a half now and the frustration level
with the software and the company just grows instead of easing.
Sometime I wonder if anyone at Epicor ever tests anything.

Sorry for the vent.
